Meet Anne-Marie

Dr Anne-Marie King is a medical doctor specialising in performance psychology and the creator of The Realignment process—a powerful methodology for removing the psychological and emotional blocks that limit wellbeing, performance, and fulfilment.

Anne-Marie graduated from University College London (UCL), one of the top 10 ranked medical schools in the world, where she earned both her MBBS Medical degree and a BSc in Clinical Sciences, specialising in Foetal and Neonatal Developmental Medicine. She also undertook training at the esteemed Tavistock Clinic in Perinatal, Child, Adolescent and Family Work. In addition to her medical training, she has studied Cognitive Science, Performance Psychology, and Educational Psychology—bringing an integrated understanding of mind, behaviour, and learning. Anne-Marie has worked in general medicine and psychiatry for many years across the South East of England, giving her a rich, grounded perspective on human development and wellbeing.

Her background in medicine, psychiatry, neuroscience, education and elite coaching allows her to guide profound transformation with nuance, depth, and lasting impact.

She works with high-achieving professionals and creatives to uncover and remove the internal blocks that limit performance, fulfilment, and sustainable success.

Anne-Marie developed this method through years of personal and professional inquiry, driven by a deep need to understand what truly works. She studied across disciplines such as psychoanalysis and cognitive science in search of that understanding. At the same time, she travelled the world, working with the world’s top coaches and experts—not only to resolve her own internal patterns, but to deeply study the art of transformation from those operating at the highest level.

Piece by piece, she refined a process that didn’t just elevate how she performed—it profoundly transformed how she felt. The Realignment process is the result of that journey: a system born from lived transformation and psychological precision. It works at the emotional and cognitive root to help people shift limiting patterns and step into their ideal version of success.

Anne-Marie is also the Director of the Realignment Programme for families, where the team applies an adapted version of the process to support children, adolescents and families.

This is strategic psychological work rooted in self-understanding, not self-improvement. It’s not about striving for power, but aligning with the power that’s already yours.
